InfoGenesis & Hyatt partner for success

InfoGenesis is proud to announce that in September 2006, we successfully completed the implementation of Revelation at 9 Hyatt properties across Australia and New Zealand.

The project, which involved replacing an existing POS solution, included the installation of IBM SurePOS 500 touch screen terminals and Microsoft Windows and SQL Server software, to manage all of Hyatt's food and beverage transactions throughout each property.

"We required a POS system that was going to be fit for our various styles of properties", said Cameron Hammond, Director Information Systems - Pacific Region.  "We had installed InfoGenesis at our flagship Sydney property in 2002.  The success of this installation and continuing support for our operation teams and managers ensured InfoGenesis would be highly regarded when we began looking at a solution or our Australian and New Zealand sites".

Virtual Manager, designed and developed by InfoGenesis Australia, further compliments the solution implemented at Hyatt and is responsible for maintaining the Club at the Hyatt (CATH) membership databases.  With guest satisfaction in mind, Virtual Manager automatically award percentage discounts on food, beverage, and other hotel amenities to our guests.  Management use Virtual Manager reports to evaluate visits by members to each of their hotel's outlets, ensuring recognition of their loyalty and subsequent return visits.

"Besides managing our CATH databases, Virtual Manager also drives automatic discounts extended to guests dining in our restaurants.  The discount provided is dependent on how many people are dining.  Previously any discounts had to be manually applied at the POS, however now with the introduction of Virtual Manager we simply enter in the number of guests dining and our member's incentive is applied immediately".
